We’re back! Jared and I return this week after some technical difficulties with a doozy of an episode. Jared played through Hideo Kojima’s newest game, Death Stranding. He tells us the good, the bad, and the stupid of the game. We also discuss the expectations people had for the game and whether it lived up to them.

Let’s talk about KITTIES!! Jared and I watched A Whisker Away on Netflix this week. We talk about how it got off to a rough start, how it ended up being really charming and enjoyable, and explain how Keith Silverstein is the best used car cat salesman.
This week, Jared and I get to talk through some gaming news, such as the Xbox Series X showcase, the leak of Nintendo concept art and assets, and the potential return of G4. After that, I talk about my experience with Paper Mario: The Origami King, including what I thought about the writing, the puzzle-based battles, and the evil deeds of office supplies.

Jared and I had a lot to talk about this week! First, we talk about the Nintendo Direct Mini and our excitement over Shin Megami Tensei V and the Nocturne remaster. Jared then talks about basketball and some of the shenanigans he got into. Finally, we chat about replaying Donkey Kong Country, DK lore, and then our experience as both farmers and cryptids in Farming Simulator 19.

Normally when I get into otome, I fall in hard. But what happens if you fall in so hard that you reincarnate as a character in the game? That’s what happens in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! Jared and I discuss the first season, some of our theories and where we think it could go in the second season, and we share which route we think Catarina might finally end up on. Also yay Shouta Aoi!!

What do you get when you mix FMV and Kazutaka Kodaka? Death Come True! This is one of Kodaka’s first adventures post-Danganronpa, and Jared and I chat about the story of the game and how rad the entire experience was. This episode is full of spoilers, so it’s probably best to play through it first before you listen…or don’t if you just want to know what we think.

This week, I finally got Jared to play Xenoblade Chronicles! It did not go as well as I had hoped. You’ll hear me squee a lot over how much I love this game and the Definitive Edition, Jared talks about all the stuff he didn’t like, and we both talk about how much we liked the new epilogue, Future Connected.
